ARE WE ABLE TO SERVE BUT NOT SPONSOR A MEAL?
As much as we would love to have your group sponsor a meal, yes. There are many costs for providing meals and keeping the facility running that are not covered by the sponsors of each meal. We appreciate all donations that you are able to help us with.
Please contact Doreen at 701-955-2150 Ext.10 if you have additional questions.
WHO PURCHASES THE FOOD AND PLANS THE MEAL?
The Dream Center will purchase the food and do the planning so no need to bring or purchase food. It is more economical for us to use the food that we have donated and helps us keep waste to a minimum. Our goal is for you to focus on serving and having fun as a group! We want you to know you are making a difference in lives by volunteering your time.
WHAT DATES ARE AVAILABLE FOR MY GROUP TO VOLUNTEER?
There are a lot of opportunities to sponsor! Please view our sponsorship calendar on our website to see available dates and conveniently pay when you schedule online. If you prefer to not use our website to book a day, please call Doreen at 701-955-2150 Ext.10 to do so over the phone.
HOW MANY VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED AND WHAT TIMES DO THEY SERVE?
The Banquet Meals:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday meals require 8-12 volunteers.
The “Ultimate Banquet” Thursday meals are more extensive, and therefore require 12-20 volunteers. Live music is welcome!
Banquet Volunteer Times:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - We need 2 volunteers at 1pm to help prep & cook and 6-10 volunteers to help serve & clean up 4:30pm-7:45pm (or when clean up is finished)
The “Ultimate Banquet” on Thursdays - We need 2 volunteers at 1pm to help prep & cook and 10+ volunteers to help serve & clean up 4:30pm-7:45pm (or when clean up is finished).

Sack Lunch Program:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30am-12:30pm requires 5-10 volunteers to help prepare lunches. This is a great activity for kids too!
Adopt-a-Block:
Sponsorship opportunities are Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Dream Center 3:30pm-6:45pm to help set up, prepare, hand out groceries and clean up.
IS AN INDIVIDUAL ABLE TO VOLUNTEER?
Yes! We have a standing list of individual volunteers that are part of our Angel List and are on standby, if we have immediate needs. We also have our regularly scheduled volunteers. Each sponsoring group is responsible for providing enough volunteers. However, if a group is unable to provide the appropriate amount of volunteers, we will do our best to fill those spots with volunteers. You can fill out a volunteer form on our website. You will be contacted when we have a need that might be a good fit for you!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
For the most part you can wear whatever you are comfortable in. If you are working in the kitchen area you can’t have open-toed shoes and longer than shoulder length hair must be up, in a ponytail or pulled back under a cap. We ask that you dress conservatively.
CAN KIDS VOLUNTEER?
Kids need to be at least 16 years old to be in the kitchen and at least 10 years old to help out with drinks and desserts (in Trinity Hall). Kids under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.
