A continuing legacy of

feeding the hungry.

The Banquet was founded in 2005 by Trinity Lutheran Church in Bismarck, with the vision to provide a free meal open to the public three days a week. The ministry was spearheaded by Pastor Steve Sathre and Church Member Tudy Fenneren after observing a similar project while in Sioux Falls. By 2019 The Banquet had expanded to four days a week, and moved to its new location at Dream Center Bismarck in April 2022. On October 1st 2023, the Banquet 501C3 formally merged into the Dream Center 501C3.

Today almost 1,800 meals are served each week inside “Trinity Hall”, named in honor of the congregation which started this incredibly impactful ministry, and their faithfulness to carry the mission into fruition.
